hi, how do i find an irish maiden name? the lady is ellen m ? she was born abt 1841 in ballymena ireland. she married a daniel cooke. her daughter elizabeth rose was born in middlesex in 1867.

Wouldn't mmn be on the birth cert? If not registered and IF they were Roman Catholic, mother's maiden name may well be in the baptism register. Jay

hi and thanks. i didnt think of the kids birth cert. that could well be the marriage. i was going along the line of marriage in female birth or home town etc. will keep info and get birth cert to check.
