Does anyone have access to Mepal Cambridgeshire records? I have been searching for 20 years for my mystery gt gt g/f's birth. (approx 1808). I already have all the census and marriage info thanks, but Iiving 10000 miles from Cambridgeshire makes it hard to get to local record offices.

From Genuki: Mepal, St Mary's: The original registers from 1659 are still at the church. Records of baptisms, marriages and burials exist on microfilm and reside in the Cambridge Record Office.The Bishop's Transcripts for the years 1600-48 and 1662-1857 can be found in the Cambridge University Library. If no-one else can help, maybe it is worth emailing the records office to ask for a lookup? Sam x

There are some records for Mepal, Cambridgeshire on the BVRI discs. Unfortunately no Josiah Bull. The only Bull christenings in Mepal are 5 children of Henry & Jane Bull between the years 1753-1766. There is 1 Bull marriage there. Edward Bull & Sarah Pisely, 12 Nov.1792.
