You can search free on Ancestry You have to search yearly by qtrs and then cross match to the other parties name to find the matching GRO but the surname will be listed in each case in the ref |

You need to go to the full ancestry bmd index and look through the images quarter by quarter for the years you think are likely for the marriage. Look for the most unusual name first as the spouse name will be showed during that time span. Just google Ancestry bmd index - use the COMPLETE one as the freebmd is partial and wont have those late dates. |
