Hello I am quite new to this family tree stuff and have hit a brick wall already!!! I am tracing my husbands tree and his grandmother and grandfather were both orphaned. Is there any info which can be obtained or anywhere I can go to get any further info? Thanks in advance Wendy |

Their fathers' names will be on their marriage cert, and both their parents names on their birth certs. OC |

Bear in mind that adoption was not legal before about 1925? Someone will correct me on this I'm sure. Depending on the dates of your grandparents' adoptions, they may well have been taken in by family members. That is what happened to my mother, born 1915, mother died of TB, raised by her father's brother. |
