1918 Flu epidemic

Some of you may remember I asked about flu and its date of arival in Middlesbrough. Today I received my aunt's death certifcate and she died 28 June 1918 of flu and pneumonia - which is which is the norm for that bug. The bug only arrived in Glasgow in May 'and quickly spread across the country'. Clive |
