I bought this. I have yet to find anyone of mine, or anyone else's on it. Has anyone else got it, and have you found anyone relevant on it? I am thinking of asking for my money back. It was not cheap and so far over 6 months or more has been of no use at all. Regards Margaret

Hi yes I found lots of family burials on the NBI - depends on the County you are looking for - Warwickshire, Berkshire and Somerset, some of my main interests are very well covered, nothing at all for Hampshire though, they did not take part. London is not well covered either. I checked the coverage carefully before I purchased it and decided there was probably enough to warrant it and I have been rewarded - if I was looking for rellies mainly in London or Hampshire or Lancashire I probably would not have bothered. I too considered buying this but checked first to see which parishes/cemeteries were included. It's a good job I did as it would have been neither of use nor ornament to me! As Di says, Lancashire is very poorly represented indeed - even on the second version. Good luck to you Margaret, but I don't fancy your chances of getting your money back. I think they'll just say you should have checked first.

For burials, it's much better value to buy credits on www.familyhistoryonline.net. That site has the entire NBI online, plus a whole lot more. It's cheap too - for £5 you can lookup over 80 records, so a much better deal than buying the NBI CD's. Richard
