Penny, this could be a possible answer,I have looked through the BMD and found a Joseph Dayton married on the 12 June 1864 ST Giles, but there was no Hester named. Could Hester have been misinterpretated on the1871 census for Henrietta who married Zacharia Dayton in 1869? Reggie, I havnt tried the other spelling of Frances yet, that is my next job. Liz, I am going to try your idea as well. Thanks everybody. Will let you know if I find anything |

Hi Anthea - It may be an idea to copy this post onto your original thread - I got rather confused then looking at 2 threads on the same thing! ;) Laura PS - do you have the birth certificate for Frances? That would clear up the issue over who her parents actually were. |
