I have one from 1895 that doesn't have it on. I wouldn't think it's likely.

Thanks for answering. Looks like my 3x g grandmothers maiden name will remain a mystery. Why did I have to have so many Irish ancestors?

Do you know for fact that she was married? Could be that the name given was the only name she had? Duncan
