You could try and find him on the cenuses before he married when he was at home with parents & siblings (I'm assuming that you're descended from one of the siblings?) I would assume the marriage was in India, and unfortunately I have no idea about searching for them.

Hi,some of you may remember that I put a thread on here about appartments at Hampton Court Palace.Well I got a reply but I dont know if I am related on not.My aged aunt, now deceased, told me that a reli had an app there .That is why I looked in the beginning. The only Keith they could find was Mrs Grace Keith.Others there had double barrel keith names.I quote : Grace l keith (1859 - 1945 ) born in bombay,India.Widow of Surgeon-major H D Keith, who was on the staff of the Duke of Connaught in India. At the 1891 census,Mrs Keith lived alone with one servant,Emma Bradbrook. In 1901 her nephew Donald R Keith (b 1897 ) came to live with her.In the 1901 census she had 2 female servants,a cook Annie L Hitteling b 1871 and a housemaid Elizabeth Sillwood b 1874.She lived there untill her death in 1945.unquote. Now,we do have a donald or Duncan b 1861 approx his father was donald james b c 1834 who was a tin smith, could have been at woolwich arsnel. So that's not right. How do I find out more about her husband to see if he belongs to us.
