I received an email yesterday by mistake deleted it when I close down my emails it automatically takes them completely off ( if you know what I mean) and not realising what I had done I closed down and when I went to look at that mail again last night OOPS it was gone, I really need to get it back. HELP PLEASE any advise please on what I can do to get it back, not very good at computer things so please make it simple instructions Pam xxxx |

If you use outlook express on the right at the top there is a box that says find click it and another box comes up in that box click browse another box comes up click on deleted items then click OK it will go back to the previous box type in who it was from then click find now and all the emails from that person will appear underneath the box double click the one you want and it will appear hope this helps John |

Hi, if you are talking about emails to your computer and not messages through this site. I take it that it is deleted from your inbox and your deleted box. If it is gone from your deleted box also then i am not sure how you would get it back. As a line of prevention I would check out your settings for emptying your deleted emails. I can change mine and so only files that have been deleted for 7 days automatically empty. good luck, maria |

I have not tried John's advice but unless you hard disc is very, very full the emails will not have been deleted from the disc. If doing as John recommends does not work, talk to a techie who wil lget it back for you. CB |
