You will need to look at old copies of the Medical Register at a large library. National Archives for example has lots of older copies.

Thank you everyone, no luck as yet, the medical register does not list Doctors in the1920's. I will keep on looking Thanks again Moira

Hello Moira -All doctors are listed in 'The Medical Register' so Google that title and see what comes up -Hope that helps Heather

The library possibly, the records office probably, will have directories for that era. CB

Ran out of luck with that one Reg.I cannot find anything that will give a list of doctors. The GMC seems to have the info. but I could not accsess it. I will keep searching Moira
