I am lucky enough to have the name Brierley to search for on these records and my relative James Brierley is listed at 27 Kirkstall rd Leeds. It states there are 13 images but after 5 it says NEW FILE. This then becomes a 33yr old James Brierley. Can anyone tell me if other records were put on relating to people of the same name.If not ,have I missed something and all 13 images belong to my James Brierley..Very confused with this and would appreciate some help please.. I think only the first five pages belong to your James Brierley. There appears to be the records of three people in the thirteen pages.

I agree with Pam. The records after the NEW FILE page have a different service number. Your man has service number 26635 of 11th Batallion, King's Own, Yorkshire. Any record without that number will be for another. It seems more than one record has been photographed together, I'm not sure if this is usual or not! GR

Thank you for that...Now what I need to ask is this..Should I contact Ancestry and tell them that other people will be missing their rellies info as it has been put as a job lot with one record.Looked through and I think there are 3 peoples records..but have had a drink with the family so maybe wrong?? Remember seeing something about bad teeth on the one after mine and the addy being Cheshire? then the next a hernia and Bolton?.. Thought they had given me his life story for a mo there!!! Wanda.x

Thought Id do the right thing and contact Ancestry.Gave all the info then got message coudnt be sent as certain things didnt match.Kept trying and finally giving the pittance of info it was sent. This will not go anywhere cos the first info I gave was exactly what the prob was. They now have a meagre bit that will probably take ages to sort....All this technology and I end up with an abacus board!!!! Sorrry for those searching as James Brierley is there for them but without the right addy they wont see!!...Wanda.x

Wanda, I've just done an Ancestry search on the 33yo James Brierley and he is there in the index. When I clicked on the 'view image' link it took me direct to his service record image. From there, I then clicked on the 'previous' arrow and it took me to the service record of your man. The way they have arranged it is confusing but actually I think it is working as it should, there is no problem with it.

Agree with Gary, the three James Brierleys all appear on the index and clicking on the appropriate one in the index brings up the correct records.
