Was it a Church of Wales building? The original area must be still covered by a vicar ( or similar) Maybe he will have a record of this. An old map would tell you the actual site. Maybe some old parishoners might remember the building being demolished and moved and be able to help....or at least know where you could find out. Gwyn

If you have a look at this web page:- http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/198/ it tells you about the move and at the very bottom of the page is an 'enquiries and feedback' button. They may be able to help you. Kath. x

Gwyn and Kath, thanks for your replies. I'm trying to find the grave of a relative who died in 1910. I've 'phoned Swansea and they checked the records for Rhydgoch Cemetery - he wasn't there. They suggested that he may have been buried in a Churchyard - St. Teilo. This is where it gets complicated. The original (ancient) church of St. Teilo had deteriorated so badly by the mid 19th Century that they built another one (of the same name). In 1980's the original Church was moved to St. Fagan's (museum). I've been 'googling' 'til the cows come' home but the only info., I get is about the old St. Teilo. M. Steer
