If you have his marriage certificate it will give his fathers name and occupation - unfortunately Ireland is a difficult area for researchers. Put Ireland or Irish in the search box at the top of the page to bring up threads to help you.

Could somebody please help me I need advice on how to trace details of my father who was born in Ireland but died in Croydon. I want to know where to start looking. I have his death certificate and marriage certificate. Any help would be appreciated. Also would anybody know how to obtain a Coroners Inquest Report dated 1949.
