Silvenus (actually Sulvenus on birth cert) THATCHER 1937 Q1 Chippenham 5a 146 I don't want to put the wife's name as I'm not sure if she's still alive. But anyone looking up will see. It's possible I missed another spouse because there are so many for her surname.

I found the guy I was looking for on 1937 Q1 using the surname that I knew his wife to have (and the fact he had an unusual first name). I wanted to know his wife's first name so I went to check under her surname for the corresponding entry. Found her, but, the reg district, volume & page number are different. This is the first time this has happened to me, both parties have always had the same reg info before. I looked over the listings for her surname twice to make sure there wasn't any other marrying with the same surnames and still only found her. I'm inclined to believe the man's details because his brother married in the same quarter. Has anyone else had this?
