Hi Chris - sorry, No I'm not, at least not that I know of so far! The Watters are my husband's side of the family, originating in Ireland, then over to Liverpool. Laura

I know, but I figured why let GR have 2 lots of money! Also, in all honesty, it's probably more me than her that wants it done! lol. I wanted that buzz of 'new research' again and offered to do hers for her and her partner. Very interesting. They're interested but not to the point they would do it themselves. I'm really enjoying it though and I think she'll be pleasantly surprised how much I've found in such little time. Laura

If you could persuade your friend to join, it'd help you with your work.

I re-registered with another email, but chose only free membership. So, if someone contacts me all ok, but I can't initiate contact. That's ok.... :) Thanks for the help Laura

Joyce Log out and join again.I have one membership in my name and another in my wife's name. You could use your friends name? I think you can use the same email but need a different password. You can log in both at the same time if you use . co.uk for one and * com) for the other.

If you have a 'free' tree on here, then you can't initiate contact with anyone but if someone contacts you first, you can reply and allow them to see you tree. Sam x

Hi all I've recently taken on a friend's family tree to research, so signed up with a free membership to keep her tree separate. Just wondering how many do this and how you go about contacting contacts? Obviously I don't want to have to pay twice, Can I let them view my tree without upgrading? Is it that they can contact me and see my tree, but I can't see theirs or contact them? Will have to contact through this username, etc! Laura
