Oh well, sorry about that. I just put Docking in the first name box and Norfolk in the county box and he was the only man that came up. Serves me right for trying to sort out other people's relatives, LOL. Kath. x

Hi Kath Thanks for that, but no his name is George Mason Thompson and I have found the marriage of his parents John Thompson and Mary Mason in 1835 in Docking. In a later census I found them and Mary is said to have been born in 'Yarmouth' and John's details are correct and their location at that time is correct too. I am off now to follow up and try to tie it all up. It is odd as I have relatives on the other side of the family from all over Norfolk, just got back from a trip there too, but missed Docking. Take care.

Thank you so much Kath! That is wonderful! I think I have found my long-lost great great grandparents!! I am so excited about this, it has explained the middle name of my great grandfather and answered a lot of questions. I'll be on here all day following up now!! Yee-ha!!!

There is a Docking in Norfolk. It's north east of King's Lynn. Kath. x

Hi I think I may have cracked a brick wall here, but only if Docking is in the right area. Can anyone tell me where it is? Many thanks.
