Kevin Asplins site (Google it) has lots of info on Boer war, and lists lots who served, but not all. You'd need to look for service records/medal roll at the National Archives. |

This question often comes up. The records are indeed held at the National Archives and in many respects are a better record than WW1 which was largely damaged by fire during the Blitz. The good news is that you can view the actual personal papers of the soldiers. The bad news is that they are not indexed but boxed alphabetically. My ancestor John Stewart was in a box of over 100 Stewarts and I had to leaf through them all. |
