I found out that my Grandad George and his brother Henry (Harry) Long were theatre and club entertainer around the 1930's and 1940's. One sang the other played piano/squeeze box. They often went to the Isle of Mann to perform. How would I be able to find out more about this like which venue and when? |

I have a similar situation in my family. I was always told my great great grandfather, Thomas Cummins was a professional clown in Liverpool. Lo and behold every census entry shows him as a ship painter. This is going back to the 1870's. I've tried to contact Liverpool history sites but no luck. If you have any joy would you let me know! Good luck with your search Barbara |
