Is there any way to search for children with the same father if it an unusual name? For example, I am looking for children of Absolam Milton born in Surrey around 1680 - 1710. Thanks for any help, Vicky

They don't make it easy to search on Familysearch, Vicky, by not allowing you to search last name only. However if you find one of the children, then you can click on batch number and on the next screen just type in last name and father's first name to get the other children. Margaret

If you enter ABSALOM MILTON for father's name, and MILTON for child's name, then the arera etc, you will get a list of all children born with that father's name. Looks like you have at least two, if not three, generations of children in that list above? OC
