The berevement service in Southampton are brilliant and don't charge. If you send them an E.Mail, they will let you know where the burial was and even sent me a plan of Woolston cemetery so I could locate a grave. |

There was a thread some time ago about a Charity? which had set up a place on Southampton Common to give information about the location of Southampton graves in return for a small fee. It is likely to be a very large cemetery so an on-foot helper would need some idea of the location of the grave. The Bereavement Services office in Bugle Street, Southampton have computer records of Southampton burials. They give plot location too. I don't know what costs are involved with a search of their records. Gwyn |

I'm sure the cemetery authorities would help if you wrote to them...........there may be a charge for the search. Reg |

My Auntie Florence Rainford is buried at St. Mary's Extra cemetary, Southampton, 16th of August 1969. I live along way from there. How can i find out what the inscription is on her grave? |
