	According to the veterans agency website: Army service records are held by Service Number, Rank, Full Name and Date of Birth. It is important that as much of this information as possible is provided, together with the Regiment or Corps if known, to assist in locating the correct record. I found my grandads service number, rank and regiment on his marriage certificate - do you havd any certificates that might give this info? Sam x

Member Since: April 2007 Posts: 17 Send Message	Is it possible to find Army records without an army number + rank etc. All I have is where my grandfather lived at the time he was called up, I don't even know what regiment he served in (WW2). Thanks
