Anyway well done you lot for finding what you did. The RENTS of Bently do belong to me only they should have been KENT. You`ve knocked a hole in my brickwall ,thanks so much. I saw the John Kent aged 2 in Alton as well but he had the wrong mother siblings and no father with them. Hello all, I am trying to find my husbands g.g.grandad. His name was Jonathan Kent. On his birth cert he was registered in Alton,sub district Binsted county of Southhampton,in 1838. His parents were Jonathan Kent (blacksmith) and Ann nee Robinson they lived in Bentley Hants. On the 1841 census he should be 3 years old, however I can`t find Jonathan living with his parents anywhere. Has anybody got any ideas on how or where else I might find him. Thanks.
