if you go to the aa route planner and put in y our address, then put where you want to go, it will come up how to get there from your home. You can also view a map of where it is too. Nicola

I am trying to find the location of Canada Terrace Newcastle upon tyne. It is shown on a birth certificate in 1855. I suppose it has been knocked down by now, but if anyone is able to help and let me know where it was, I would be very grateful. Regards, Maurice

It doesn't come up on AutoRoute so I guess it isn't there now. By the way, Newcastle isn't in County Durham - it's Northumberland (at least it was) - it's Tyne and Wear now. Kath. x

In 1881, Canada Street was in the All Saints Parish of Newcastle, Ecclesiastical District of Christ Church........one would assume that Canada Terrace, when it existed, was in the same vicinity. You can do address searches on 1861 on the findmypast website........... Reg
