What's the difference between Collector's Edition & Deluxe Edition, apart from price.

Julie, if you go to the my-history web site they give you a comparison chart of all the different versions. Ive got the cheapest one- standard.

I've got FTM2005 and not the 2006 version, but most people reckon the standard version is all you need. It's what I've got and I'm more than happy with it. Kath. x

Nothing, as far as the actual program is concerned. The difference between the standard, collectors, deluxe etc.is with the offers which come bundled with it. As far as versions are concerned, 2005 & 2006 are on the outside, identical.

I got a bundle of CD's with my FT 2005 and they were not of any use to me. Regards Jill

I bought the 2006 deluxe and it comprises of a 5 disc set. + 90 days subs to Ancestry. The discs are English parish records (general) Found that hard to negotiate and of no use.) Scottish Parish records (general) 1851 census Sample Charting Companion Family tree maker. I only use the tree and the charting companion so paid over the odds for it at £29.99 Shirley
