HI Ken, I am a beginner with things like this. Unfortunately I do not know his number or where he was based. All I have to go on is his name - William Patrick Brendan Joseph Mitchell born 25/11/1923. He was originally from Ireland (Dublin). So I am at a bit of a loss.

My grandfather was in the Navy in WW2 and even though he survived he is no longer with us. He was originally from Ireland which is provng hard in itself and born in 1923 so I thought I would see if I could possibly get his Navy records. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
