Please, Michelle, delete the name...........GR will remove the thread if you don't. You can get advice without risking upsetting people. Good luck in your quest Reg

Its possible that if he has family in wolverhampton area then he might of gone back there. I have had to do a similar search myself, searching for my birth mother. Luckily for me I knew the name of her brother and where he was living some 30 years ago so did a search on the electoral role to see if I could find him. I was quite lucky and was able to find him and get in touch with my birth mother, which didn't go according to plan though. My point is, its more easier to trace a man than a woman, because of a womans name change if they remarry. www(.)192(.)com is where you can search the electoral role and telephone numbers. *Remove Brackets*. Do you know if he was living anywhere else after that date, if so then maybe it will give you a rough idea of where he could be living now. Nicola

I don't think its a prob whether you have his name there or not, GR won't remove the thread as I have done a similar thing before while searching for my birth mother when I came on here. My thread was not removed and everyone on here was extremely helpful in my search. People search for living rellies on here all the time. Nicola

Hi Nicola thankyou for your help i only know of the connection of wolverhampton when i was young 36 years ago (roughly) not sure if he moved any where else. Unfortunately i dont have any other links. The only other clue i have is i know possibly his occupation around that time. I will try that website Thankyou Michelle
