Evenin' all, Is anyone out there an accomplished googler? I keep being told to google my relations, but all I ever end up with is fascinating details of every branch of Sainsbury's in the British Isles. Any tips, and anyone else out there who has a similarly ungoogle-friendly name? |

I've just tried it and it works, :D If you wanted to put in forename too, then I would guess to do the same thing with that, but after every word put a + sign and no spaces. Nicola |

Hi Karen, I always use inverted commas round the name, as already suggested and I often add the town of birth or death to narrow it down more, sometimes you get lucky. Nicky |

You can also add minus to exclude things ie -supermarket -prices -shop (space before minus) Bob |

As soon as I add Wootton Bassett, where most of my Sainsburys are from, I get the Wootton Bassett branch of Sainsbury's again. |

Try giving us one of your names, and we'll see how many results we can find. You're not related to Charlotte Sainsbury from Devizes, are you? |

You're best off googling the person's full name, e.g. 'Fred Sainsbury' 'Wootton Bassett' (put each phrase in double inverted commas, which don't show up here) |
