Marriage and Death Records

Where does one look to obtain Documents pertaining to Marriage and Death documents if you do not know where the individual was married? I do know the individual died in Bradford,West Yorkshire,England, but cannot locate any records.He was born in Ireland, wife was born in NSW, but in the census records children born are listed as British Subjects. |

well if its post 1837 then both will be registered FreeBMD isnt yet fully transcribed but you can search free on Ancestry using the compllete listings. |

All bmd's are listed alphabetically by name on the GRO records. It is a case of searching page by page until you find what seems to be the relevant entry, then cross-checking. The census records should enable you to determine a time-scale for the searches....... Reg |
