Is Tree Quest a good investment?

Treequest is the company name for familyrelatives.org Jean, I wouldnt bother. Its a pain of a site at the best of times - Ive sent them 5 emails since they went off line to update over a month ago and took my password and units with them and I have yet to receive a reply. They do have a lot of trouble with their site. The only reason I used it was because Im lazy and if a name search on freebmd didnt bring up a birth marriage or death in the period 1866-1920 you would then have to trawl the complete index looking through each quarter and year. familyrelatives came along with that period name/time span/area searchable. So Id pay for the units - I think its £6 for 50 now - and do a name search in those years. I wouldnt bother with a yearly sub. Without any doubt ancestry is the one to have a sub to. If you go to Lost Cousins site you should still be able to get it for about £56 for a year - go on the Lost Cousins, then beginners and then on the 1871 census info I believe to get the offer - if not its nearly £80 a year but still worth its weight in gold. All the census 1901-1841, some parish info, all the bmd - lots of other stuff always being added and recently we had 3 days free access to all the american info aswell.

I've not come across this one before and nothing came up in Google. Do you have a web address?
