If you go to my tree matches down the side then find your surname it will say you have xxx number of that surname in your tree, click on that number and scroll down and you will see the names you have entered. jenny

Names in your own tree are now excluded if you do a search. I believe it has been like this for over a year now. Other people will find you.

Not sure, but I don't think that your own name shows up to you, but everyone else can see it.

Do you mean, when you search for your own name (in the wee boxs at the top of the screen) do dont appear? When you do a search on this site your own tree names wont come up eg when i search Mhairi * my own name doesnt appear because the only person with me in their tree is me...does that make sense? If you log out ando a search you should appear. Hope that helps Mhairi

can any one tell me when i put in my surname to search mine not on there , so that would mean no one could find me also go how you get on that list been on here over six months am i been stupid
