My head is really pickled now and I cant think!!! I have ordered the marriage cert for my grandparents. They were married June 1949. My grandfather was 36 yrs at the time of marriage. I have searched the birth records for 1912 -14 and I believe this is him. Harry William Shaw b. apr/may/jun qtr 1913. Could this be him or have I worked out the dates wrong??? Thanks

He would have been born approx July 1912 - June 1913, and registered up to 1 quarter later than the birth month if all is correct. a specific example.. married aged 36 on 20th June 1949 born 21 June 1912 to 20 June 1913 Registration likely to be 1912 Sep - 1913 Sep. Christine
