The certificates will give you an indication of where they were living and so the area to look at for their burial. Depending on the date you could get all kinds of interesting things from the certificate too. What I did was, when I had the cert, I went to the cemetery office and they looked them up for me in the books. Was lucky enough to find a bunch of others in the same grave. Sometimes county records offices hold copies of these books. if you know what religion they were that can help to narrow the search as I've found they sometimes divide the books into C of E, RC and non-conformist (methodist, gospel hall etc). If you don't live in the area you could request people in the area to visit or try phoning the cemetery office yourself.

well you will need both death certs ,then you an phone the Cemeteries and Parks dept of their local Council giving them all the details from the certs and they may be able to give you the burial details if they were buried in a municipal cemetary. They may of course been cremated.

How can I find out where my great grandparents are buried ? I have found BMD entries for both deaths, but I don't know where they're buried or even if they're buried together. Can I find out without actually visiting possible cemeteries ? Thanks
