Can someone tell me why they would want fiches? Have you got a home fiche reader? Where can I get one? Or do you read them somewhere else? Regards Margaret

Contact the Northumberland and Durham Family History Society.Their website is www.ndfhs.org.uk. They have fiches and CDs for sale, and I'm sure you don't need to be a member to buy from them---they will still want your money! I'm sure they cover Newcastle as well. Or try www.tyneandweararchives.org.uk They are very helpful. You can e-mail them to see if they have what you want. Sorry, GR won't let me give you the e-mail address. Just google for tyne and wear archives and you will find their e-mail address.

Thanks Charles The Durham ones look hopeful, but they don't have the Newcastle Parishs I need on fiche. I'll write to them and see if they can help though cheers Sylvia

Does anyone know please, is it possible to buy these records somewhere on fiche or disc? I'm particularly looking for St John and All Saints in Newcastle and Gateshead in Durham. If someone can point me in the right direction, I need a site that will accept credit card payment and doesn't require me to join the Fam Hist Soc first. Many thanks, Sylvia
