I picked up an excellent little booklet last week for £3.95........... Called How to trace your ancestors a beginners guide.......... by Brian Smailes.................................................................. published by Challenge............................ There is a little bit about all you need to know, from what you can expect to find at record offices and archives,.......... What to take when you visit them................ HaHA this is my Fathers Name and My Brothers Name, just thought it was funny. And no they didn't write this book unfortunatly, it would have saved me months of headaches etc etc. if they did.
