Hi Can anyone help me please? I have a Louisa Elizabeth Meallam (c1840-1900) in my tree she married John Hazell (1835-1885) in 1860. I don't seem to be able to find any trace of her before her marriage. I have tried several variations of surname i.e Mealam, Mealham, Mealum. Chris |

Oh yes forgot that bit must be frustration, old age etc!! Norfolk area, Brooke or Alpington maybe. No Parental names so this is proving another problem! Thanks Chris |

Christine, If you know when she married you will be able to get her father's name and perhaps his domicile from the marriage certificate. Peter |

Havn't gotten around to ordering marriage cert yet, it was a little prob that popped up yesterday and so I started looking last night and most of this am.
