I have just done what is probably the most mind numbing task - trawling for the marriages of 5 female cousins - luckily they had a 'rare' surname. I started when the eldest would've been 18 and continued onwards. The only marriage I have found so far was when one was 38. I then thought I'd look for her death. (Still to look for children) Imagine my surprise when I discovered she only died in the last decade at the age of 106! Not only that her husband had only died 3 years earlier so they had been married 64 years! They should've received 4 messages from the Queen (100, 105 & 106 + the Diamond wedding - if anybody requested a message for them) There's hope for me yet - although I'm not sure I'd want to get to 106 unless I still had all my faculties. I'll have to do some research in the local papers as there is bound to be some info on a lady who reached that age. Bo
