Frances - I'm pleased that the others found your family for you. If you look on the right-hand side of the page there is a line 'Comments and Corrections'. If you click on it you can enter the correct name and Ancestry will then make it searchable under the correct name and it will appear as an alternative. I have had to do this for several of my families. After a week or so, the correction will appear.

Thank you so much, both of you - this is definitely the family listed as Cader! I would never have found them. The original looks nothing like Cader, it is Leader! Thanks again for replying so quickly.

think they are down as Larder in 1851

Sorry, no I didn't write down a ref no. I threw away the wrong Census page in annoyance and I only have the printed summary sheets from GR for each person.

Hi Frances, I think i have found your family under the name of Cader on ancestry but it is definately Leader on the original. It took quite a while to load up.... I have to get the kids to school now but i have saved the image for you if you pm your email addy and i'll send it later, thats if no-one else has already done it. Tracey

Please can someone help me with the 1861 Census?! It’s not just a case of not being able to find a family – I have found the Census Report on GR but when I tried to view the record, it opened the wrong page and they are unable to send me the correct one & refunded credits! I then joined Ancestry.com for a free 3 day trial and this is my 3rd day trying to find the same info – how can it be on GR Census reports and not Ancestry’s?! Once again I’m searching the elusive Leader/ Loader family. Here is what I have for the 1861 Census on Genes Reunited (but cannot see the actual page and I'm looking for additional family members) William Leader (Head), Age 41 Frances Leader (Wife), 27 (think this should be 37) Frances Leader (Dau), 13 William Leader (Son), 13 Alfred Leader (Son), 7 All shown living at 54 Gopsall St, Shoreditch, Hoxton Old Town N.B. The name looks like Loader on the Census page, but is listed as Leader on GR. Someone here kindly found the family for me in the 1871 Census, listed as Loader, and in 1881 they are listed as Loader. I’ve spent most of my 3 free days searching different spellings for this family Leader/ Loader/ Lieder/ Leder, Loder, & looked under each person’s name. Please, if anyone has some spare time, could they have a look for me for 1861, it may just need a fresh pair of eyes! Many thanks in advance, I do appreciate your help!
