Salisbury Street, Birkenhead

This street was bombed out during blitz of early 1941 - last saw it in 1977 - found our front doorstep still there and sat one it! It was still a bombed site. Does anyone know if it has been built on since - still named and on multimaps. Thank you

In the aerial view of multi-map it appears to be a site covered in large warehouse buildings. In the 192 web-site there appears to be a firm of taxis at no. 2 and nobody registered anywhere else. Ken

Hello Chris, Sorry to tell you but Salisbury St, is now home to a Netto supermarket,at the top end near to Charing Cross further down it is the multi story car park for the Pyramids Shopping Centre.I was there today. Best Wishes Maureen
