Hi I am trying to find out about someone who lived in Bournemouth around 1957. Not sure where just yet as I am waiting for the death cert to come to help me with this. Who would I contact or where would I go to find more recent records for around this time?. I guess I would need electerol registers or telephone directories. I have had a quick look at the DFHS and didn't see anything that would help me there. Can anyone advise me who to approach. thank you for your help. Jane

When you have an address contact the Bournemouth reference library, as they will hold Electoral registers for the area and telephone directories. Jane I have Kellys directory's for the Bournemouth Poole area 1929, 1952, 1955 1967 and 1974 Only head of house named Street Indexes with surnames and Business listings If I can help give me a shout. Sue

Hi Sue That is very kind of you. I am looking for Harry and Euginie Paddock. Euginie died in 1957 and then Harry went back to Birmingham so they may be in the 1929 or 1952 directory. I believe he was in the Brewery Trade. Unfortunately your guess is as good as mine as to where in the Bournemouth area he was living. If its ok with you I might get back to you when i get the death cert which should have an address. All the best Jane
