Stephen, Looking for a possible death of Joshua Webster b1826 in Bethnal Green. I have him in 1861 census with wife Ann and family. Another son, William was born in March 1862 and can find nothing in 1871 - probably a mistranscription but I can't find it! In 1881 William is living with older sister, Ann now married to Richard Hadkiss. So assume Joshua died between 1862 and 1881 All help gratefully received - I've been looking for this offf and on for ages! Sue |

Thanks Ken I won't be wasting my time now hunting through pages of indexes for 'late results'! Sue |

They are usually hand written at the bottom of the appropriate page. Ken |

I'm having problems finding a death and seem to remember reading on here that sometimes there are 'amendments' added to the index. If I haven't imagined this where would I find them - at the end of the quarter or the end of year or at the end of the 'W's (initial letter of surname) or somewhere else entirely? thanks, hit a brick wall, Sue |
