I have this family on the 1891 census: 1891 England Census about Selena Lewis Name: Selena Lewis Age: 41 Estimated birth year: abt 1850 Relation: Head Mother's name: Ann Gender: Female Where born: St Albans, Hertfordshire, England Civil parish: St Peter Ecclesiastical parish: St Peter Town: St Albans County/Island: Hertfordshire Country: England Street address: Occupation: Condition as to marriage: Education: Employment status: View image Registration district: St Albans Sub-registration district: St Albans ED, institution, or vessel: 4 Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age Ann Lewis 83 David Lewis 15 Florence Lewis 7 Horace Lewis 9 Selena Lewis 41 William Lewis 18 On the 1901 census, William is married and his brother Horace is living with them. Florence is a servant in the house next door (mistranscribed as 75!) There is no sign of David (my gt grandad) or Selina. I do know that Selina must have had at least one more child called Selina/Lena as my dad remembers going to visit his Aunt Lena. I have been looking for David and Selina for a long time now so any help would be great. Thanks for your time Vicky |

'I do know that Selina must have had at least one more child called Selina/Lena as my dad remembers going to visit his Aunt Lena.' Am I reading this incorrectly. Surely if Selina had another child then that would be sister to David and not Aunt. Could David have been a soldier? Maureen |

Sorry, I meant that Aunt Lena was my dad's (gt) aunt - his grandad's sister. I don't know much about David other than by 1909 he was living in Leicester (this is when his 1st child to my knowledge was born) Vicky |
