Is it possible to hide 'living relatives' on my tree? I can't seem to find an option for doing this. If there is where might I find it? C. Harding |

Go into 'My Account Details' in the green column on the left. Put in your username and password, and your details page should come up. If you scroll down a bit there is a place where it asks if you want to hide living relatives. The details will only be hidden when you give access to someone to view your tree. If someone does a search of names on the site (using the quick search, or search records options) then the details are not hidden. If you don't want anyone to find the details, then don't add them or just put 'Living Relative' for the person's name. However if you do this, then you will cut down the chances of making connections with other family members. Kath. x |
