Does anyone know, and I know it sounds daft, where they come from? ie, Ireland or whatever. Im thinking of the old, well established fairs. I know gypsies were first found in the UK in the 1700s in Scotland (apart from those like my lot, who came over from Italy), but how did fairground folk come into being? |
