Land tax was levied on the owners of land, but not tenants. The one's I have seen list the owners, the area of each property they owned and how much tax they paid. Jay |

Thank you I'm not really sure - They are earlier than that 1803 - 1813 ish . They are listed\ at records office but I'm not sure what thwy may contain. Alice |
