Don't know your programme but a lot of this type of programme allows you to work in layers. To print you either need to say 'print all layers' (default is current layer) or to Consolidate (or some similar word including flatten) which gets rid of the layers. You should then be able to print. Clive

Hi Pam. Not sure if this is what you want but: If you go to www.allfamilycrests*com find your way to your particular Family Crest then 'Right' Click the image. From the drop down menu select 'Save Picture As' and save it to your desktop. You can print the 'Crest' as it is, or open it in 'Paint' and make adjustments and alterations.

hi all , I have finally put my familytree(well part of ,up to where I have all branches equal lol) on paper to put in a frame, the tree disc I have has a make your own family crest section on it so I spent a long time reading what goes where and how etc ,deciding how I would like it to look and then actually making one which i have to say i was pleased with but when I came to print it the only thing that comes out on paper is the top line of the surrounding square ,thinking this was my fault I got my kids(both in their 20's and a lot more computerwise than me ,to try to sort it but to no avail.Anyway now I have come back to the place where I get most of my problems solved Genes helpers lol... Can anyone tell me if they have done this or if they know of anywhere on the net where I may go to have another go ,have googled all sorts of things to do with heraldry and had a bit of success but think I could do better as my teachers used to say lol...anyway any ideas gratefully accepted ......THANKS Pam ps..Comp playing up so if I dont get back straight away thanks for your suggestions and I will get back to thanks anyone who can help,,ty
