Sorry had to go off line. The mothers maiden name was FEENAN and married name BILLINGTON. |

Found the birth Dec 1944 Patrick m Billingtom mmn Fcenan ?? thats what it says!'! Chelmsford 4a 760. Looked up to 1950 for the death but nothing listed |

You know Reg I thought that because I couldn't find any record of him and asked my mum today. She said absolutely not! She even told me where he was buried but I've looked on the BMD and can't see him anywhere. I've been assured by 2 people that he died very young. |

Maybe he didn't die as early as you've been led to believe. You imply that he was born before his mother married...........is that correct? If so, perhaps he was adopted........... Reg |

well if he wasnt a stillbirth,which is on a different register then his birth will be reg and his death. do you want to give a name so we can take a look? |

I'm looking for the death of a cousin. He was born in 1944 and although I've heard 2 versions regarding his death, one says he died as a baby at about 6 months and the other when he was about 6 years, I still can't find his death registered. I've looked under both his mothers maiden and married name for 10 years after birth and nothing there. Is it possible he wasn't registered? Maisy |
