Henry was Robert's father I have a photo of the hat factory which a relative sent. It's actually in Hollen Street, rear of 105-109 Oxford Street.

Hi Try looking at http://www.clive-buckle(.)co.uk/1861.htm which gives a list of the missing and partly missing 1861 census pieces. Scroll right down (I think it is on that page but may be on 1851) to find how to look up details of what was on a piece. Clive

Thanks Clive, I forgot about the missing 1861 census pieces. It's not much help in this case as they look as though they are away from home and they could be anywhere!

I have found Arthur (aged 4) and Minnie (aged 2) as boarders in Twickenham in 1861. It looks as though the parents and Robert jnr and Jessy are away somewhere. Louisa died shortly after birth. Can anyone find them in the British Isles?

I have my Heath family for all the censuses except for 1861. Could anyone help to trace them for me? Robert was a Hatter (they had a premises just behind the M&S Pantheon Branch in Oxford Street) He married Jane Jeffcoat. She was born in 1820 in Winchendon Bucks. Their first child was Jessy Jane, born 1850. Others were Robert Walton, Louisa Annie, Arthur Charles and Minnie Anne.
