At least she was honest!!! lol My dad was brought up thinking a certain English person was his father, then when his 'dad' was killed in the war, it was discovered that he wasn't married to my gran, but someone else. Gran insisted he had married her bigamously. I was happily researching his family, when someone contacted me who knew this man and said he (and his wife) had been long-standing friends of gran's family since she was a child, and even produced photographs!! Under these circumstances you would have thought gran knew he was married!! Still doesn't totally negate him from being dad's dad, but then, just before he died, dad told me his mum had told him his dad came from Juarez!! Great help that - Juarez in Mexico or Spain, and a surname may have helped!! maggie

Father: John Jackson (Steel Worker). Mother:Janet Smith, wife of Robert Green (Cooper) who she declares is not the father of the child and further that she has had no personal intercourse with him since she left him in Liverpool three years ago. (Surnames have been changed to protect the innocent!!)
