Switching to Apple mac - urgent advice please

Thank you Kate - I have hunted on this site and got the impression the Family Tree builder didn't support Mac access so now I'm relieved! |

I don't think you will lose it - the format of the internet browser on a Mac is slightly different, but not so much so that you won't be able to use this site. You might have to experiment with which browser suits you best, though. If, as you say, you've got your tree on here, all you should need to do is connect to the internet (when you can) and log back onto this site. |

I have just bought a Mac Powerbook as a replacement for a Windows laptop. I completely overlooked my GR access! Installing Parallels won't help because (I understand) my Broadband access, when I switch to BT tomorrow,is for my Mac and I won't get dual operating system access. So..... can anyone please advise me how I can avoid losing all my Family Tree records which I only have on GR!!!!!! Thank you |
